The browser extension shows the technologies a website uses for free.
On a Plus plan, the 'more info' tab adds available company and contact
information, social profiles, and other metadata so you can move from
detection to action without leaving the page.

You can
suggest a new technology. We only accept web technologies with clear public web signals and
an established user base.
If you notice something wrong or missing, please
report an issue. If you have comments or suggestions,

The extension inspects HTML, scripts, cookies, network requests, and
certificates on the pages you visit, looking for unique technology
fingerprints so it can identify the tools a website uses.
In some cases it is possible to obfuscate a technology's public
signals, but it is often impractical and unnecessary. If your
concern is security, the more important step is keeping software
up-to-date. For more information, see
How to hide technologies from Wappalyzer.
We collect information in accordance with our
privacy policy. By default,
when you visit a website, the extension may send limited
website-level data such as the hostname and identified technologies
to our servers. You can disable this behavior in the extension's
settings.
